Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Only on your phone. Asl has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing of yours on our servers.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings and tap Clear all my data. Uninstalling the app also deletes it. We keep no copy, so deleted data cannot be restored.
Is a "Compliant" result a fatwa?
No. It is the result of a published Shariah standard. You can choose the standard for US and for Saudi stocks in Settings.
How fresh are the prices?
Prices can be delayed. Do not use Asl as a trading tool.
How is Zakat calculated?
Asl uses the method shown on the Zakat screen and the numbers you enter. The result is an estimate. For your own case, ask a scholar.
I found a wrong result.
Email us the symbol and what looks wrong. We check it with the data provider.
Which languages does Asl support?
English and Arabic. Change the language in Settings.
