Girsh is a tracker, not a payment app. It never connects to your bank, never asks for card details, and cannot cancel anything on your behalf — it simply makes sure you always know what is coming.
Before you install
Does Girsh need access to my bank?
No, and it has no way to ask for it. Girsh has no connection to any bank or payment provider, no way to read your transactions, and no field for a full card number. You tell it what you pay for, and it tracks that.
Does Girsh work offline?
Yes, completely. Your subscriptions are stored on the phone and every screen reads from the phone, so nothing waits on a connection. Reminders are scheduled on the device rather than sent from a push server, so they arrive offline too.
Is Girsh available in Arabic?
Yes, and the Arabic is designed rather than translated: right-to-left layouts drawn as layouts, Arabic-Indic numerals, and a typeface that carries Arabic and Latin on the same baseline. You can use the app entirely in Arabic or entirely in English.
What if I pay for things in more than one currency?
You pick one main currency and Girsh converts every stored price into it using downloaded exchange rates, so your monthly total is a single honest number. If a rate is unavailable it refuses the conversion rather than guessing — a wrong rate would corrupt prices that still look perfectly valid.
Does Girsh show ads or collect analytics?
Neither. There are no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising identifier, in the app or on this site. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is collecting.
