Delete your Girsh account

Last updated:

This page explains how to delete your account for Girsh (com.d7oomy.subscription), published by Mali Fund, and exactly what happens when you do.

There are two separate things you can delete, and you do not have to do both.

1. Delete your data, keep your account

Open the app and go to Account → Data → Delete all data.

This takes effect immediately. It erases every subscription and card from this phone and from the backup held in your account, so the deletion also reaches your other devices. Your account and email address remain, and you can carry on using the app with an empty list.

2. Delete your entire account

Send an email to support@malifund.com with the subject Delete my account, from the email address the account uses. Sending it from that address is how the request is verified as yours; a request from any other address cannot be honoured, because there is no way to confirm who made it.

You can also start the same request from inside the app under Account → Get help.

No other information is needed — do not include your password.

What is deleted

Everything associated with the account, permanently and with no way to recover it:

DeletedWhere it lived
Your account and sign-in credentialsSupabase authentication
Your email address and password hashSupabase authentication
Every subscription you added — name, price, billing period, dates, notes and the account username you optionally recordedYour account’s backup
Every card you added — the name you chose, its type, and the last four digitsYour account’s backup
Which billing dates you marked as paidYour account’s backup
Your settings: main currency, sort order, appearance, language and reminder preferencesYour account’s backup
Any support messages you sent from inside the appSupport records

The copy of your data on your own phone is not reached by this request — it is on your device, not ours. Uninstalling the app removes it, and so does Account → Data → Delete all data before you write in.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Nothing that identifies you is kept after the deletion completes. There is no shadow copy, no archived profile, and no anonymised analytics profile — the app collects no analytics at all.
  • Ordinary server logs held by our hosting provider may contain the IP address of requests your device made. These are not linked to your account after deletion, are never used to rebuild it, and roll off automatically within 30 days.
  • Your email to us requesting deletion is kept only until the deletion is complete, and is then removed along with everything else.

How long it takes

Requests are completed within 30 days of receipt, and in practice much sooner. You will receive an email confirming the deletion once it is done.

If you sign in to the app during that window, the request is treated as cancelled — signing in is taken as a change of mind. Write again if you still want the account removed.

A note on what Girsh never had

Girsh has no connection to any bank or payment provider. It has no field for a full card number, a CVV, an expiry date or a PIN, and never asks for one. There is nothing of that kind to delete, because there was never anything of that kind to collect.

Full detail on what the app stores is in the privacy policy.
