Terms of Service — Girsh

Last updated:

These terms apply to Girsh, a mobile application published by Mali Fund (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Girsh is — and what it is not

Girsh is a record-keeping tool. You tell it what you pay for, and it shows you the prices, the billing dates and the totals.

It is not a payment service, a bank, a financial adviser, or a subscription-cancellation service. Specifically:

  • It has no connection to any bank, card issuer or payment provider, and cannot read your transactions or balances.
  • It cannot start, change or cancel a subscription with any company on your behalf. To cancel something, you deal with that company directly.
  • It gives no financial, tax or investment advice. Totals and averages are arithmetic on the figures you entered, nothing more.

2. Accuracy is on you, and so are your decisions

Everything Girsh displays is derived from what you typed in. If a price, a billing date or a billing period is wrong, the totals, the calendar and the reminders derived from it are wrong too.

Currency conversion uses exchange rates downloaded from a public source. Those rates are indicative, are not a dealing rate, and may be out of date. When a rate is unavailable, the app refuses to convert rather than guessing.

Do not rely on Girsh alone for a decision that matters. Check the company’s own billing page or your bank statement.

3. Reminders are best-effort

Renewal reminders are scheduled on your own device. Whether one actually appears depends on your operating system, your notification permissions, battery-saving settings, and whether the device is switched on at the time. We do not guarantee that any reminder will be delivered, and a missed reminder is not our responsibility. Treat them as a convenience, not as a safeguard against a payment you cannot afford.

4. Your account

You need an account to use the app. You agree to:

  • give an email address you actually control;
  • keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised;
  • be responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Girsh is not directed at children under 13.

We may suspend or close an account that is used to attack the service, to abuse other users, or in breach of these terms.

5. Your data

Your subscriptions belong to you. We do not sell them, share them, or use them to advertise to you. What is stored, where, and what leaves your device is set out in full in the privacy policy.

You can erase your data at any time from Account → Data → Delete all data, and you can delete your whole account through the account deletion page.

Keep your own records if they matter to you. The backup exists so you can restore after reinstalling or move to a new phone. It is a convenience, not a guaranteed archive, and we do not promise that data can be recovered after you delete it or after an account is closed.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: attempt to access another person’s account or data; probe, overload or interfere with the service; automate access in a way that degrades it for others; or use the app to break the law.

7. Our own rights

The app, its name, its design and its code belong to Mali Fund. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control. Company names and logos shown inside the app belong to those companies and are used only to identify the service you are tracking.

8. Availability and changes

The app is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may update these terms. When the terms change, the revised version appears at this URL and the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the revision.

9. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, Girsh is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or that it will be free of errors.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost savings, or loss of data arising from your use of the app — including a payment you missed, a subscription you did not cancel, or a figure that turned out to be wrong.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you use the app as a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove the protections of the mandatory law of your own country.
